Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Reztor Pty Ltd ("we") and the business that signs up for Posting Octopus ("you").

The service

Posting Octopus lets you and AI tools you authorise schedule and publish posts to social media accounts you connect. We publish what you schedule or approve, at the time you choose, as reliably as we reasonably can. Social networks can reject or delay posts, change their rules, or withdraw access; when that happens we'll show you the failure and, where possible, let you retry.

Your account and team

You are responsible for who you invite to your workspace, what they do, and keeping sign-in details safe. Workspace admins control connected accounts, AI tools, settings and billing.

AI tools you connect

You choose which AI tools may post and whether their posts need approval. Posts an AI tool makes are your content, and you are responsible for them as if you wrote them yourself. Keep AI tool keys secret; anyone holding a key can submit posts as that tool.

The AI writer

The AI writer drafts posts from your business profile and what you ask for. AI can get things wrong, so check every post before you schedule or approve it; nothing it writes goes out until you do. Once you post it, it is your content like any other. Each plan includes a number of AI-written posts a month, shown on the pricing page.

Your content

You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, process and publish it only to provide the service. You must have the rights to what you post, and it must follow the law and each network's rules. We may suspend publishing that breaks these terms or a network's rules.

Plans and payment

The subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. The price depends on the number of social accounts switched on, as shown on the pricing page; when you connect or switch off accounts during a month, the next bill is adjusted for the days each account was on. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a payment fails and isn't fixed, scheduled posts pause until it is. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.

Free trial

New workspaces get a free trial. When it ends, scheduled posts pause until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted.

Ending the service

You can delete your workspace at any time from settings. We may end the service for a workspace that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update them and will tell workspace admins about significant changes in advance. Questions: support@postingoctopus.com.
